City State Abbreviation reg's

I know some don't like them, but I was surprised they were even available. Thoughts?

I don't know why anyone wouldn't like 'em, since when we use the postal service we utilize the two letter abbreviation so it's not like it's alien to Americans, quite the opposite actually.

I have none but depending on city can be rather convenient. I like it.

I see why you would reg them. Along the same lines (I think), I regged MaineUSA.me (the key being "me" abbreviation). Let us know how you make out with them.

I think they make sense. Lots of people looking for things will tag the state along with it, particularly true if its a common city name such as springfield. Establishes a local market, and allows differentiation. Good way to find a local merchant for example, which can be hard to do on the net, or for a local merchant to get attention during a local search attempt.

Subdomains have some potential as well, as someone looking for a local product might search for product city state abv, not common searches but good niche potential with accurate targeting. It wont do as well as a pure geo, but I can see where it might interest some parties. I also suspect would also be commonly used by people trying to locate others based on last known address.

Add a cool # next to a abreviation > kinda like UK24.TV, NY24.TV & OH10.tv which resembles the word Ohio and channel 10, if yeah know what I mean ?!
