This far-reaching decision to have a good national infrastructure from the French is the reason that DailyMotion is so popular today - AND the same reason that cable has been pipped by internet TV.
The French always look after themselves first - if only the US and UK could follow suit!
This has implications for the future that very few here will realise AND puts the French in a commanding seat.
it seems to indicate that people will watch TV over their internet connection
and not access internet over there cable connection.
