I think Fight.tv is a bargain at $250 yr renewal, i'm very tempted to reg it but i promised myself that i wont reg anything new for a while.
I'm really shocked it's available, i guessed such a strong keyword would of been taken ages ago.

I love that name Fight.tv. In fact, it shows available but I talked to Deborah at Enom who is in charge of premiums at .tv and she says it's not available right now, so I am confused? Maybe you got the name and if you did congradulations, and $250 renewal is a great bargain.

fight.tv is DEFINTELY worth that $250 renewal fee, but you gotta know what to do with the name. its a popular one word term, and .tv really hits well with entertainment related stuff. very good name you got.

I think you have a GREAT name. Any boxing promoter worth his salt would want to link in with this name. I watched the Amir Khan fight last night, briliant display, so realise how big a world boxing can be. Forrget all the streetfight stuff - stick to proper pugilism - that's where the cash is at.
$250 is a dream amount - well done.
Feel a little sad that you came onto the site to talk about a name and everyone tried to reg it straight away for themselves.
If that's how desparate they are to make money - they deserve all the money in the world - but NONE of the security of knowing who they are that normally goes with true wealth.

This is a friendly forum, but the truth is, there is absolutely nothing wrong with regging a name that is available. We are as competitive as any other enterprise, and not regging a name means it is available.
POINT is, you do not own a name until you pay for it. That does not denote desperation to make money, it is just a business and nothing personal in that.
I had a name I wanted that was later taken, but hey if I wanted it I should have bought it. Doesn't hurt my feelings or change my attitude toward the person who obtained the name.
In the meantime, domainacrobat gives you great advice. We are here to help each other but there are still boundaries we keep that separate camaderie from business.
Anyway, glad you are here and enjoying the burgeoning .tv phenomenon. It is indeed starting to expand, as you are witnessing.

Personally, I have yet to reg a premium, but I do have a fight-related name in squaredcircle.tv
Somewhere down the road I feel it will be a viable name that will be wanted by some enterprising company. It's a hand reg and can be used for any ring-style sport.

This is the best reg i have seen on the forum for a while, i cannot believe it was available. If i was you then i would not consider selling this for less than high $x,xxx as it's such a strong word & it works great in .tv
I believe somebody here on NP owns FightChannel.tv and has knocked back a few decent offers from a boxing/fighting association already (i think the offers were low $x,xxx but i'm not certain)

I am the owner of FightChannel.TV - I picked it up expiring from TDNAM. the very next day I had 2 seperate offers for $500. One via PM and one via whois lookup. A third inquiry came in from a sanctioning body of Boxing. I asked for alot of money and never heard from them again...
I thought Fight.tv might be a nice addition to my Fight package.
Fight.tv was owned by another person here and obviously dropped. IMO it is a great name best of luck.
