Some good news for the near future :
On 1 June 2007, it was announced by Reuters that an animated Tamagotchi film is to be released in December 2007. The film will be about a Mametchi which tries to build a time travel experiment but ends up accidentally bringing a human girl named Tampopo who is brought to their planet by a shooting star, and the planet appears to be having some sort of earthquake disaster. The movie will soon be released on December 15, 2007, and will be distributed by Toho.

With normal reg this domain can get u some money nack even undeveloped.
ovt is very good so is the upcoming movie.
I think u ll see some traffic in the near future.
Now u must think if u will park it as it is or if
u develope into a small site so u can gett all the traffic from the upcoming movie.

I think there may be trademark issues......Bandai Corp seems to have all their bases covered!

Well... as for TM's, I found 6 live ones...

All are under Bandai...

BUT !
After checking all the grounds about this name, I can positively say that if there are companies OTHER than this "Bandai", that are using this name for OTHER reasons than the main "bandai-purpose" -
It's free for me to use aswell !

My girlfriend is from Japan and she tried to make me register this name about 9 months ago. There were many extensions available at the time and other better names so I chose against it. It is a TM name though that type of toy has become known as Tamagotchi (regaurdless of brand) kind of the way some people in america say kleenex for tissue.

Value - not too sure.
