Obviously there are two sides on the TV forum about hand-reg's. About half a dozen feel that hand-reg's are not worth anything "because if it's still there, it ain't worth two horse patties".
I am not in that camp, nor are many others.....so let's try a "hand-reg" thread.
Rules 1) Only post what you feel is a great hand-registration. mybigvideopalace.tv is NOT a good hand-reg. You all are smart enough to know what is good and what is crap. 2) Explain why it is good, and why you chose it. 3) Explain how it could be dev'd. 4) If you are going to say "hand-reg's suck" go find another thread to feel superior in. 5) Appraisals welcome and desired: Give constructive critisism and explain exactly why and what you appraise it for. Don't just say "it sucks", tell them why it sucks. 6) Max of one hand-reg post per day. Max of 3 hand-reg's in that post. 7) Give people time to appraise. Don't bump for appraisals. If no one responded, use your brain.
I will start:
Hand Reg: Crying.tv Reason: Random search, but it has 22K+ overture, which is huge. DEV: Have you ever seen someone cry? Women do it, men do it, kids do it. How about a place for people to get together and talk about their feelings? Or perhaps just a place for people to share joyous occasions: Births, weddings, graduations, etc.
Great idea.
flirting.tv, It was ranked as a premium by premuim domains, which I dont know a lot about to be honest. Its a very easy name to develop into a dating site or another idea that I am toying with. I feel it would be a great name to develop and If I dont get offered great money, thats exactly what I will do.
Hand Reg: handbook.tv Reason: Random search, 10K+ overture. DEV: handbook.tv is certificated as premium by PremiumDomains. It's ideal to develop a site which is completely a live handbook guiding people to do things.... something like Do it yourself home, etc...

Hand Reg: Carnage.tv
Reason: Dictionary term, very versatile for any sort of video.
DEV: Police chase videos, skateboarding videos, car crashes etc...so many possibilities!

Hand Reg: CableBox.TV Reason: Obvious tie-in to the extension; OVT is pretty good as well. Dev: The first idea that springs to mind is that it would make a good TV schedule type of site. Or maybe a site that either highlights the best programming of the day or discusses it in forums.
Hand reg: ejackpot.tv a few minutes ago, I like this a lot.
Its obvious what the name would be good for and seems a very on topic style of name for the moment.
Poker, casino sites and a few others with a bit of creative thought.
Hand Reg: MotelHotel.tv ( Also just regged the plural - MotelsHotels.tv - Thanks Dave !! )
Reason: Good potential for accommodation booking/directory type site. Plus the OVT for hotel motel was a mouthwatering 819,440. ( Even though mine is motel first, I think SEO wise, it shouldnt matter too much !! )
Development: When I saw the OVT for this one, I started rattling my brains as to possible development plans. I was thinking about running it with a hotel affiliate program. However, what I had in my head was to make it more Search Engine Friendly, and by that, have as many unique pages as possible. With this in mind, I have decided to turn it into a hotel and motel directory. I have just purchased a database with over 70,000 hotel and motel listings in the US, so I just need some time now to get it all working together, and figure out how best to maximize exposure of the sites pages and content. Hopefully, with some good Adsense placements, I can at least earn back the reg fee within 12 months.

you can signup for Hotels.com affliate program, get every hotel in the world, and have the ability to monetize the traffic when people reserve a hotel thru your site.
I have had a look at Ian.com / Hotels.com before, but never went any further.
Another hotel affiliate which is very good, and which I have been using for the past few years is bookings.org ( I think they are now called Booking though !! )

I think reservationdesk.tv has some potential, and can be used for a variety of markets, not just hotels. Flights and car rental are a couple of travel related markets that I think fit in nicely with this name.
