Mobi Dev Ideas? The Future?

I feel like the eventual value of mobi will be determined by it's usage.
If useful apps and info can be provided through mobi people will be more inclined to adopt and expand the extension.

Im also thinking that mobi may become more of a brand or label rather then a strict technical standard which has already been outdated by most modern smartphones.

So does anyone here have future dev ideas for mobi to give it legs?

One thing I can think of is tapping into the massively expanding smartphone app market.
Many of those apps need their own web site that would mostly be visited by mobile users, why not push .mobi for app domains?

Interesting thought. Why do you think every app needs a website if it is listed in an app store?
