REALITOR.MOBI - suggestions?

reality.mobi is on afternic and has recent offers as high as 1100$ ..

would i be better off to wait, or ???? open to suggestions as to the best method to get a decent price out of this one....

You're confusing two completely different words. "Reality" has nothing to do with real estate. I assume you were thinking of the word "realtor" when you registered "realitor" (which isn't even a word).

hi Gene,

if you look at some of the sold domains with the word reality you will see many that are realestate domains.

the general public, for some reason beyond me, seems to think that realty and realtor are pronounced as it there was an "i" in there.

some of the reality and realitor sales are rather high (to me over a few k$ is high) and these names were definitely for real estate uses.

i am just unsure as to how to go about finding a decent end user or which venue is doing the best with mobi's right now... for a while it seemed that sedo was bringing in top dollar for mobi's ...but some of the other sources are starting to show up in the solds again too....

Personally I wouldn't bother with realitor beyond parking. Mobi is challenging enough as it is with good keywords, but typos seems silly to me unless a defensive reg (for example if you also owned realtor.mobi and redirect the typo).

I see where you're coming from now... sorry for assuming incorrectly. As a typo, I suppose it can fly as a traffic generator. Good luck with it!

It is a strange and interesting phenomena how people inset an "i" and add an extra sylable to realtor/realitor. I've heard people pronounce it with the "i" and it hurts my ears. lol

I wouldn't get it for type-in traffic as pay per click. Most .mobi names don't monetize well for pay per click parked sites.

Additionally, Realtor is a trademark and I imagine if your site got successful you might find yourself on the wrong end of a WIPO.

Personally I would take a pass.
