Hi guys, do you know any company or group of individuals that is using the .mobi extension in email (I mean myname@mycompany.mobi)? Do you think if I tell someone to send me an email to myself@mycompany.mobi, the average person will understand or will they say "dot what?", since the majority of email addresses are .com?
Thank you for you feedback on this!
DB.
I am using mymail@myname.mobi and myname.mobi (http://arne.mobi) as my personal site for 2 years now and never had any problems. I even have it printed on my business card.

then i went to the about us to see what they were all about and there it was, her personal email contact is a .mobi, and she calls herself a mobile expert and consultant! maybe we should have her face off with the other ones dissing .mobi at their little conference and see what happens.
anyhow the poll is pretty cool considering the site really has nothing to do with domaining, but the vast majority prefer .mobi to m. or .com or wap. for the future of the mobile web.
Mentioning the URL of another forum is not permitted, so I'll take down the quotations of mobi supporters "stuffing the ballot box" to give a false impression of vast support for the extension.
