Really? Where have they been dropping? I know I and others have sold some for some low prices but I did not know of any dropping via non-renewal. Please tell me where. Thanks.
I'm just currious, how have they droped, I think pretty much all LLL's were gone by dec06 (not sure though) And I am pretty sure they all had the 2 year reg period. I forget when .mobi switched to 1 year. I think it was possibly in Jan or Feb, I got to check my last 2 year reg.
Unless they droped for other reasons.
I am not sure though. And I also can't wait to capture some more in the fall, I am sure some gems will pop up.
Some will drop, though it will be the usual accidental stuff only I would think with minimum prices around $40. That is unless the market falls further though I doubt it is going to get to reg fee levels.
I just checked my last 2 year reg, it was bought in the middle of february of 07, thats when MTLD opened it up to 1 year reg (I think...and I am pretty sure all the LLL's were gone by then) And they had to be 2 year purchases.
I remeber somone grabed one that was avaiable, but I think it was because they had false in formation or something and the registrar droped it, but not sure. If I recall it was around december or Jan
I think Feb 12, 2007 is when it switched to one year regs and all the LLL.mobi were gone in 2006 so its impossible that any dropped. I dont know if any will drop this fall (i'm sure at least a few will), but I know my LLL's will not be dropping, lol.

A few have been caught, after the sellout a few came back onto the market for a number of reasons, non-payment, credit cards problems.
I seem to remember one or two threads of LLL.mobis that were picked up because they were dropped for whatever reason.
I think for sure there will be a number of drops. Look at LLLL.com, they drop all the time, not because they are not worth more than reg fee but because people either don't know their value or just forget to renew for some reason.
They were not really drops. Long after land rush there were several reports of LLL.mobis being registered. RJ set a $100 bounty on a confirmed new reg and, as I remember it, a young man from India scanned and scanned and found one - RJ paid the $100 and the guy got to keep his LLL.mobi.
The assumption at the time was that they were sunrise domains that were eventually either rejected or unpaid. Three or so were reported here, there may have been a few more.
Mobi LLLs sold out in mid-october so there cannot be drops until around November of this year. But catching a LLL.mobi would likely be either a lot of luck, or more time than it would be worth.
It had to be a cancellation by mistake. All LLLs sold out before the mandatory 2 year registrations ended. It has nothing to do with not being renewed.
You don't because they don't exist yet. As RJ pointed out. Early after the first 60 days of Sunrise a few were released again after whatever problems the registrant had. Techn
