![]() | Mobile v. PC Detection and Display Hello all. Is it permissible, per dotmobi's rules, to build a .mobi site which detects whether a viewer is viewing the website from a mobile or pc browser and, based upon such detetection, displays either a mobile version of the site or a pc (larger) version of the site? It would be greatly appreciated if someone could direct me to dotmobi's rules concerning this issue. Thanks |

I have personally discussed this with the mTLD folks at dotMOBI "Happenings" and nothing contrary was ever mentioned. As long as the site resolves from a mobile phone as per their regs, you can most certainly do the "large site" as well! Most top mobi developers are utilizing this detection strategy! So....... Go For It!
