![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | mobi help, looking for comments- $50 NP for your time The first 3 to respond and provide an honest effort at what I should do I will donate $50 for your time. Just want honesty, pm me if you want. What would you do? I have been putting this decision off for a while but I am forced to make a decision very soon. ![]() | I'm new here, so my opinion is probably not as valued as some, but... I think that all domains, especially short, have huge potential for increasing in value over the next few years, no matter what the extension. Dot mobi is a great extension but the word mobile is not even used in many countries. If you look at sales of mobi, however, they are increasing steadily in value. I have been into buying domains now for 4 years and I've made some bad choices, I've also made some really good ones. LLLL.coms 6 months ago, as an example, and I've also been astounded at the domain market investing growth in the last year. Dot mobi is definitely a very specific extension but I'd hate to see someone lose money over indecision. I guess it depends on what you have to invest. And like I said, I might not know as much as some people here, but I say hold them, at least for a another year or two. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Honestly i could see the brandable ones catching on, in a couple of years. Its just not popular enough to start regging random brandable names. If you were to reg these you would have to make a site that someone is going to want to visit on the fly. i.e. games site, news, movies info, rss type information. If you do hold on to them for a while they could be worth something one day. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I owned some LLLL.mobi, but sold most of it before expiration. I had two main reasons for doing so: 1. When LLLL.net has not value, it would take a while for LLLL.mobi to be worth anything 2. Even after NNNN.mobi were all gone (which are more scarce than LLLL.mobi), they did not sell well in the secondary market I would say keep your best ones (for the sake of diversification) and sell the rest. At least that's what I've done with my LLLL.mobi.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I am not very fond of .mobi just because they have 4 letters, but I would: - keep the ones that consist solely of letters that can be entered using single keypresses on a phone keyboard. Those letters are: A, D, G, J, M, P, T, W (at least on my phone )- keep: JIBB, FEMS and ROLO Don't ask me why, just intuition. - try to sell the others before renewal comes up - renew what you can't sell and give yourself a year to sell them, if you don't succeed: drop |
