For people who paid for the 3rd SEDO auction

For people such as myself who won .mobi auctions twice and have paid SEDO for their domains in my case around $xx,xxx. Which has been sitting in their account only days after I won the auction.

I have heard no word from SEDO about what is going on the moneys just been sitting their,

what kind of compensation will we be getting?

Furthermore I will not be putting this money back into .mobi I think its a lost cause I will invest into .com

Thanks

sedo auction

connections, I'm not surprised that you haven't heard from them from Dec 5th to now, they didn't know what they were going to do.I would have been on the phone & flooded them with emails had they not responded to me after sending all that $$.I'm sure you will be hearing from them now but I really feel bad for you & others who thought they won in the first, second and whatever other auction they throw out there and try to get right.
Best of luck to you & keep on them to get back you cash..

Regards

Don't worry I am taking my money out of all .mobi investments I have I am sick of this TLD.

Its going no where, the people who run it don't want to talk to heavy investors they only seem interested in profits from "suckers".

I hope mobi fails, I own a Iphone and what do I use the .com button and all .coms work fine on it.

I cant ever see .mobi taking off in the future.

Good luck with your domains people but I think this is a dead investment.

I understand your frustration but I wouldn't call investors in mobi suckers at all,it's like any investment hope it's takes off.If you didn't have a hard time with the sedo people than I'm sure your views might have been somewhat different.
Good Luck

Yes they would have been some what different,

Yet I don't see whats the point investing in something where the main people involved don't want to talk,

IE: MTLD they don't even want to respond to my emails, SEDO tried to contact them never had a reply.

Just after recently obtaining a Iphone and using it, I don't even see the importance of .mobi ?

I mean .mobi is not even a common term in my country Australia I feel it will possibly never take off.

Investments come and go but, I just think MTLD is sucking people in and trying to gain maximum profits from these "auctions", hence the reason for restarting this one it all for profits.

The worst part of it all is SEDO and MTLD don't want to communicate with XX,XXX buyers from this last auction.

SEDO and MTLD have both lost me, I plan to sell all my .mobi domains over the next few weeks, I am getting out of this TLD while I still can. I don't want to do business with people who conduct their was such as SEDO and MTLD, its like doing business with 10 year old kids who want to play hide and seek, and not communicate, I don't know how SEDO can consider them selves as the so called "best place to auction domains" when they conduct them selves like this.

If you think about it if sedo has X,XXX,XXX in their bank account for a month from SEDO .mobi buyers they are making a decent some of interest per month basis.

thanks.

People please stop pming me abotu selling domains,

becuase I will list them when the time is right,

I will list them on eBay, I wouldn't even think about listing them on that joke of a company SEDO, furthermore I will be removing every domain I have parked on SEDO, I am a grossly annoyed by this whole thing, I will also be letting as many people I know know about how "bad" of a company SEDO is, and telling all my friends who have domains with them to move their domains to other people and I know people with 10k domains ect ect.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=408138

ALSO DO NOT CONTACT ME ABOUT LITIGATION BECAUSE I AM GETTING OUT OF .MOBI I DONT WANT TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS TLD, I ALL READY HAVE A HUGE NETWORK OF SITES TO RUN I COULD HAVE PROMOTED .MOBI TO A HUGE DEMOGRAPHIC EACH DAY YET I WILL NOT BE DOING SO AS I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS RUBBISH.

THANKS.

Connections, i'd be very careful about what you do, this so called failing ext just made a mint at the second auction be it fraudulent in your eyes or not there's something going on, don't let your heart rule your head take two steps back and relax. Don't forget what you also said you just staked $xx,xxx into the ext! You just upset with the way its being handled, your not angry at the ext itself!!! Please take time out just to think about what your gonna do!!

I am angry about SEDO and also MTLD's handling of this situation, the fact that I have never been contacted directly.

The fact they never let me know whats going on.

All the people who seem to have something to say on this forum are ones who were not even involved in the AUCTION's sure its easy for them to say "yeah re list the auctions" why should they care?

Because they were not even part of them to begin with.

Dude,
i dont blame you for being mad.
Thing is if you were sitting there TWICE heart whirring to win TWICE.
You also paid in double quick time.
What changed?
This is a knee jerk reaction and everyone loses. You lose, we lose as you were a great member and bud to have in team and the extension loses.
It has been handled wrong but i am in no way sticking up for them as have been highly critical , but they couldnt let people know what was going on as they didn't know themselves.

They made an announcement yesterday after the legaleagles.mobi no doubt decided this was only course of action.
Expect to hear this week.

Only advice i would seek to give connections is, telephone sedo.In germany or US and speak to someone.
Forget emails, get a name and kick ass. At least get your money back. All they gotta do is hit refund at sedo paypal end and you get everything back.
I wish you best. Get a name and get the guy to call you instantly back, or if you are ringing from same country, no sweat.
You can clear this up this week, then relax for a month and decide which way you wanna go.
Best of luck

the thing is I have tried to call and never been able to talk to some one directly about my case,

I don't understand why they are RE auctioning my domains as I won them twice, its not like their was 2 different winners then yes I could se reason for a new auction.

yet in both cases I have won the auctions in both cases I have had contracts, I have paid and I have heard nothing.

I am not dealing with a 8 dollar domain here its $xx,xxx and sedo seems to want to turn a blind eye.

Also MTLD is not replying to any thing, they just seem to want to cash in on the whole .mobi thing, the reason these domains are been re auctioned is SIMPLY for profits, they know they will get more money.

I don't believe people have the audacity to say I don't have reason to be ANGRY?????

wake up to your selves guys...thanks

The 'professionalism' is in the fact that Connections has tried to resolve the issue prior to posting here. Unfortunately, as the vast majority of people who have tried contacting Sedo know, they seem to invariably ignor emails, do not answer the phone, and generally are excellent at making a simple problem into a massive calamity.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=408138

The title of this thread is 'For people who paid for the 3rd SEDO auction', this would imply that Connections is asking others who have paid to post here to see if they have got their monies back (and that should include costs and interest by the way).

It would also be nice if 'Sedo' posted here, but as we all know Sedo use this forum only for advertising 99% of the time. Now if the professionalism of any one should be questioned I would think they (Sedo) are a prime candidate.

In two weeks of trying to contact SEDO I have heard nothing, I deffiantly cant see them posting here.

I don't know why some people here are telling me to GO AWAY because this is a problem that relates to a large percentage of high .mobi investors.

I think it sucks that you have money put out and no domains to show for it. However, sedo and mtld are trying to do the right thing for everyone involved with the auction, not just you.

I hope you don't make a hasty decision and decide to dump mobi by the wayside. After all, you did at some point find mobi to be a worthy investment. To fight so hard over a lost mobi shows me that you really do care and are just bitter over the auction results which you have every right to be. Give yourself time to cool down from this blunder and you will be happy you held on to your mobis
