It seems to have privacy protection on it - perhaps some registrants are embarrassed to acknowledge the original concept wasn't theirs.

If that is the case, here is an idea: adding rep is anonymous - the recipient doesn't know who left it unless the person saying 'thank you' chooses to tell them.

All the new registrant needs to do is click on that silver scale icon on the left - it doesn't cost a thing, and can be done in seconds.

In any event, adding rep for the original poster (binary in this case) still seems like the correct thing to do.

privacy protection is free for some. these registrants use it for the protection or just out of habit. either way binary's deeds are great in these threads and i will give a preemptive thank you and rep.

edit-wouldnt allow me to rep- can i get a rep proxy??

I picked up newsview from this list! I usually always have privacy!
And, I've even bought a few names from Fred so ALL is cool! You be too!!! Smiles!
I have plenty of "view" names so we can all take and share credit for the concept if that is OK!
