So in the upcoming traffic miami loan.mobi is on the block for a starting bid of 100-250k. We'll see were loans.mobi ends up. It's kind of interesting to see the various starting bids. This is obviously a mix of the premiums and private .mobis with a total of 89 listed so far.

just interesting info to me - obviously not indicative of actual selling price.

For the pure speculators, landrush regs like loan will likely be more desirable since they come with no development requirements.

And at these prices you can easily see how a pure speculator could flip it for a spectacular annualized ROI.

Hummm.... I'm a mobi fan, but I can't see how one speculator could flip it to another for a decent ROI at this point.

Duceman, what you are saying is a badge of honor for me - this is the first time anyone has said or implied I'm being over-optimistic in this forum

Now seriously, the operative term in my statement is 'annualized' (I should have emphasized it).

Nowadays you can flip a domain in less than a month, and your net proceeds don't have to exceed your gross purchase costs by all that much to get a 'spectacular annualized ROI'.

I'm sure you don't need a worked example, so I'll refrain from introducing one for now.

BTW, I didn't say one speculator to another. Your automatic quote is correct:
