   | news.mobi to be auctioned I just reviewed the initial list for the Moniker auction. News.mobi is on the list, as are a few others. I am very pleased to see this particular name going to sale , as I have been waiting for some time. | I thought that these were going to be parceled out to those with the resources and grand ideas. It appears the MTLD folks may have decided otherwise. Either that or news,mobi was awarded and the new owner decided once it was in their possession that MTLD could kiss off.

So why it is also for auction at Moniker I really don't know. Did they think that Sedo bidders might read it as 'free .mobi' and not be inclined to pay anything for it?

  | I am extremely disappointed that mTLD abandoned the RFP process for premium domain name, "News.mobi" IMHO.   Thanks for allowing me to share. -Jeff
