| Account Closed | Something else .Mobi has going for it Whilst the obvious purpose of .mobi is for mobile use there is an aspect of .mobi that is often overlooked. That is namely that .mobi does not confine itself solely to access from a mobile but is also fully accessible from PC's. This offers companies who were not able to secure a .com site the added bonus of being able to develop a site which can cater to both markets. Just my 1and1/2cents worth. |

![]() Developed .MOBI websites are supposed to have coding requirements and compliance measures to ensure helpful and useful mobile content, in my view. ![]() Why should it, then, be permitted to have .MOBI websites developed for PC (non-mobile) usage IYHO's? ![]() Thanks for your thoughts. -Jeff

| Account Closed | Jeff Well Jeff just look at http://mobility.mobi/ and there's your answer.Works on both mobile and PC. In fact Mobility.mobi now has full approval of the Mtld and they are using it as a showcase model. Here is the post about that on Mobility.mobi: Good news, folks, I just heard from Vance Hedderel (Director, PR and Communications for mtld) that we've made it into the dotMobi Showcase (thanks to our 5/5 from dartho!). Even better, dotMobi wants to do a case study about us! Stay tuned for that... For now, you can check us out here: http://mtld.mobi/node/761 Good job, everyone, lot's of good .mobi news lately all around. |
