Nothing jumping out at me as a premium over Reg. fee's, IMHO ... which 2 - 3 will you be developing with unique and compelling content for those that are "on the go" IYHO?

while "on the go" is generally seen as a factor that dovetails with the extension and significant portion of prospective userbase, there are countless applications for .mobi outside of that phrase. So, perhaps consider whether a name fits a purpose for use on a mobile device use - not necessarily a person being mobile.

Is an example of this, say, while one is travelling (whether for personal or business)?

examples could be

- travelling with unforseen delays may lead one to go antiquing on the mWeb
- school recess
- being grounded and not allowed to use the computer
- keeping track of stats while at work and off the corporate grid
- hmmm. perverts anywhere
- translation of words during a movie at home on the couch
- forgot that actor's name while on the couch watching a movie
- your significant other is on the home pc and you want to surf
- monitoring the last stretch of an auction while away from the cpu

that is only a fraction, examples can go on and on, can't give away some secrets.

I would say all reg fee at this point. It's hard for any name reg'd right now to be more than that unless you find a real hidden gem.

The one that jumped out at me as possibly being worth more is SouthKoreans.mobi. The reason why is because lots of South Koreans use their mobiles for almost everything. Maybe worth low XXX just guessing though. Maybe higher if you found the right end user.
