![]() | There will NOT be sale at all! 21 bids, 2 biders, all from the seller's friends. His friends will bid it to the sky! The seller, fangrong cheng, the No 1 cheater and thief in .mobi world! He sold ccc.mobi to Colombani, but refused to transfer... Finially, Colombani got ccc.mobi... He registered xx names with FAKE TMs, chinese.mobi toys.mobi ccc.mobi 222 333 567(sold) 365 520 345(sold) 010(phone code of beijing) 021(phone code of shanghai) Check the whois http://mtld.mobi/domain/whois?q=domain/whois Fangrong Cheng has sold names registered by FAKE TMs for $2x,xxx at least. I think mTLD should delete all of these names. |

![]() ![]() | Dun need to bother with this guy. He know that he need to sell all the trademark .mobi asap before mtld taken action towards his illegal trademark .mobi registration. I only can say that he is the kind of person that can make big buck. It consists of capabilities and quick investment faster than anyone of us to achieve it. Even we can do the same thing, do you really think that you and I will do the same thing like this guy when .mobi have no fixed value during the pre-reg trademark .mobi period. |

![]() | Nice work gotodotmobi If the Domain name: chinese.mobi was registered with a fake TM and the mtld eventually wants it back, what happens to the person who buys it on sedo? It sounds like a mess I don't want to be involved with.

![]() | Please see below -- if this is indeed a "false" trademark filing (and I do not know), not only should this person lose this domain, this person should also receive a large penalty - $250 K and prison time Domain ID 93301-MOBIDomain Name:CHINESE.MOBI Created On:12-Sep-2006 07:21:23 UTC Last Updated On:23-Apr-2007 09:07:41 UTC Expiration Date:12-Sep-2008 07:21:23 UTC Trademark Name:chinese Trademark Country:CN Trademark Number:25184633 Date Trademark Applied For:2000-01-01 Date Trademark Registered:2005-08-16 Sponsoring Registrar:HiChina Web Solutions (Hong Kong) Limited (420) Created by Registrar:HiChina Web Solutions (Hong Kong) Limited (420) Last Updated by Registrar:HiChina Web Solutions (Hong Kong) Limited (420) Status KRegistrant ID:hc894776535-cn Registrant Name:jiang jie Registrant Organization:shanghai xiongsheng wangluo keji youxian gongsi Registrant Street1:shanghai Registrant City:shanghai Registrant State/Province:shanghai Registrant Postal Code:200232 Registrant Country:CN Registrant Phone:+86.02154073260 Registrant FAX:+86.02154073112 Registrant Email:home008@gmail.com Admin ID:hc894776535-cn Admin Name:jiang jie I've contacted the registry before about these "false trademark" filings --- there are scores of them --- I suggest more people contacting them in protest -- why should individuals who submitted "false filings" be rewarded with handsome payouts --- completely absurd! ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=361915 Of course, please note the application date on this so-called "trademark" is Jan 1, 2000 - if you believe that, hey, we've got lots of swamp property down here (waterfront property with picturesque vistas) I'd love to sell you ---

![]() | Google will win that one --- and will get it back --- with no problem but since it's nearly impossible to trademark a "generic" such as phones, toys, bet, cabs, etc --- no one without a trademark claim can wage a protest/dispute -- ie, these false trademark filers can reap benefits without few if any repercussions --- really disappointing --- and the registry should take all these domains back from the cheaters |

But the other fake TM's really need some action from mTLD if possible. I haven't read the TOS, so I don't know if they would need to go through WIPO at this point or if they can act unilaterally.

![]() | actually BET waged a dispute against the individual who had falsely filed a "mobi" Bet TM application during the Sunrise period - of course, Black Entertainment Television already owned the BET trademark, so their case was easy -- just too bad they had to pay the legal expense to get the domain from the cheat - but at least they prevailed --- I know the registry hired Price Waterhouse to audit these trademark filings - whoops! |

Agreed. It is very dangerous to purchase a faked TM domain.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I think a good approach would be to advise the Chinese authorities, with the Beijing olympics one year away they are trying to paint a whiter than white picture and do not want any bad publicity from any direction. Similar fraudulent actions in China have incurred a penalty of a bullet in the back of the head- fairly strong deterrent!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | mTLD will request you to issue via the UDRP process. I know not only these domains, there are more and more, such as: Lenovo.mobi Pepsi.mobi Win.mobi CCTV.mobi Wap.mobi Tom.mobi ... Sorry! I feel very shame for it happens in China. |

![]() | These guys stealed our fair opportunity to register great names. I think many domainers have pre-registered these, but they were stealed by the guy. If anyone who read this thread could send an email to mTLD, I think they may resolve the problem. I indeed reported this abuse to Pinky Brand and mTLD Oct 2006, But they did nothing. They even didn't check the validity of the TMs. If reported after Nov, then they would request you to issue via the UDRP process... |
