Ok,
I own this name. The singular version Cuckold.mobi is one of the names held back by the extension so no one can buy it. Do you think this makes the plural version more valuable. Cuckolds.com is a huge site with tons of members.

Cuckolds has a 12,510 wordtracker a month
Cuckold has a 280,740 wordtracker a month

Any clue what Cuckolds.mobi is worth?

I have no clue about value but you are incorrect about cuckold.mobi never being released. It is not a Reserved name it is a Premium name which are supposed to be released for registration via auction, RFP or similar. Any idea why on earth cuckold.mobi is considered Premium?

I think it is a common term used outside of the us. I means someone who has been cheated on by their spouse or something like that. I think the users searching the term are looking to make discreet connections if you know what I mean.

I have to retract my ealier comment that it is used outside the US. It seems we search for it more than those in the UK. The wiki article has a lot of info on the current use of the word.

Weird stuff ... personally, I would drop this domain a.s.a.p. but one might wish to offer it in a $Xx - $Xxx super "Quick Sale" to those folks at the .COM, IMHO.

Just curious why would you drop this name quick? It does not matter if you agree with the people who search for this term or not it is heavily searched in the US as I showed with the wordtracker stats above. The reason it was kept as a premium name is because there is a huge interest in this term by a particular group of people.

When I look at a domain name I could care less what group of people use it. I care about how many of them use the name as a search term and how valuable it would be to someone in that particular niche. In this case a niche that gets almost a quarter million searches a month.

Would love to hear more thoughts about this name.

If .mobi takes off this name should recieve type in traffic. So it will be a money earner, now matter how sick the topic might be. So if you are not uncomfortable owning that kind of name or profiting from that behavior then you have made a great reg in my opinion.

Getting back to your original question about value, if you are not inclined to dev it yourself, I would consider holding it until .mobi becomes better understood in the public. This could be a good name for a hook-up/swingers mobile site, where people with this lifestyle can use the site when they are out of town. You're right, my disgust of the lifestyle represented in the word does not impact its value to those who engage in it.
