Just wanted to bump this up, because I believe it to be very important to the recognition of .MOBI by the masses, and I think a lot of people may have missed it last night...

True enough, but I'd say she's better known among the younger crowd, at least for the time being...so they're more likely to catch on to her mobile site first.

This makes me think of how Myspace, CraigsList, etc. caught on in the first place: WORD OF MOUTH.

Youngsters spread things like wildfire. If they start seeing and using .mobi's on their mobile phones, it's GAME ON FOR THE EXTENSION.

That post is still true though. Both need to happen. I didn't contradict myself. See, Tila Tequila is what I would consider to be a "big gun", and if she starts promoting that site it may win favor with myspacers.
