OnMobile.mobi series launched

The Onmobile series started.

The first in the lot is :

MapsOnmobile.mobi - for driving directions - just enter two addresses and see the directions - done with Google api - with a score of 4/5 on ready.mobi

GamesOnmobile.mobi - for playing online Games - some phones may find it difficult - but score is 4/5

SearchOnmobile.mobi - for Search - again using Google api - score - 4/5

I tried mapsonmobile but the map doesn't load on my Treo. Too bad because that's something I really wanted to try out.

And why does the site default to Mountain View - San Francisco. Can't you leave it empty?

Hi Jack,

I tried out mapsonmobile again using opera mini on my phone but the maps still won't come up.

gamesonmobile won't work on my phone browser because it can't get to the deal button. But it does work on opera mini. Hopefully people with better phones are having better success than me. These kinds of problems are to be expected in mobile quite frankly with so many brands, models and carriers. Ultimately we need to find the lowest common denominator that we are comfortable with for a given site. I commend you efforts and please update us if you make any changes.

Much appreciated Scandiman... its a real pain with some handsets.... I have a new thread..for which I was working for the last few months on all fronts, from SEO, Scripting ( I am not that good - but this is one of the best video sharing script) and a wap site with automatic redirection.

Finally done.... just search for the phrase "hot clips" or "hotclips" on any of the Google engines and you would get the site for sure

Please reply in the new thread and promise to keep you updated... and btw - the best part is the Java Poker game does not use any images... amazing code!
