1. Bank TV commercials: "To do banking on your mobile, go to xyz.mobi"

2. American Idol season 7: "To vote for Chuck, go to idol.mobi"

3. New Google advertising campaign: "To access google search on your mobile, go to google.mobi"

4. Ditech TV/radio commercial: "To find the lowest home loan rates, got to ditech.mobi"

Who thinks these will happen? And if so, by what timeframe?

I honestly think that #2 would have been the best way to bring .mobi to the rest of the world. I am so pissed that mtld didn't go, to some degree, the .tv route by bringing in celebrities and using media outlets at there disposal. Especially with American Idol and deal or no deal making use of cellphones the way they are. It's a damn shame. That aside, the most likely ought to be #2 as it would be the easiest to implement and reach the most at the fastest most viral rate.

and every student in the country using facebook.mobi to use facebook from their phones and the promotion of myspace.mobi. Also phone plans with cheaper unlimited use internet plans and more phones with wi-fi built in. voice recognition going mainstream would also be great but that might take a little longer.
