Keep in mind that threads like this tend to fuel speculative registrations. To get a better indicator of true demand, it would be better if such threads weren't posted.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | SOP is to buy up the best names in a sector then post threads and lists, creating interest so others buy the names and accelerate the move towards high prices for the sector. Others who have bought in then make supporting comments to bump up the thread. ((((I would never do such a thing. That I own CVCV.mobis has nothing to do with this post.)))) |

![]() ![]() ![]() | interesting post however in the case of mobi i will take issue with your categorization of the cvcv "good" letters since j and w are both first-position letters on the keypad of a typical phone i don't think they can be considered "bad" letters according to the usual formula non-qwerty, traditional 12 key keyboards account for 95% of all phones, though i know this will change upward, for the next few years cvcv that use first-position letters will be very desirable in my opinion would you rather own soco (all good letters) which needs 12 key-presses or jawa (2 bad letters) which needs 4 key presses |

Remember that only domainers have heard of CVCV's - there are tons of great pronouncables that do not fit that pattern. And acronyms need not be pronouncable at all to be valuable. Face it, with well over 400,000 LLLL.mobis there are many ways to find value. But it is interesting that the CVCV's seem to be evaporating.

![]() ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=330576 I think that the CVCV's make good brandables. For instance, I'm using my LoFi.mobi to make a music-related site.

but remember that we are dealing with nonsense names and in a sense one nonsense name is just as good as another, i remember when i ran into woot.com, i thought "what a cool name", it has a so called bad letter ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=330576 i do own about 10 cvcv, i think they are great investment especially when startup's come along that want to startup on mobi i own maat.mobi which i got because she is the egyptian god of truth and i like egyptian myth and history, but maat is also a first key press for all 4 letters ....i definitely disagree about the value of keypress, for example virtually 90% of the NNN and NNNN are meaningless but were bought and are very desirable only for their keypress value, in fact they will harder to sell than say jawa which can be memorized easier than 4286 i also think that much of this doesn't mean too much, in the end it all comes down to content and branding which can make _any_ name a winner
