Yes, I have opera mini loaded on my little phone and it is how I access NP via mobile if I absolutely must. It's a toss between this and mowser.com because really, both suck on my phone assuming the page displays at all. Painfully slow to load, very disjointed display and a scrolling nightmare. It is a dream to use opera mini on compliant mobi sites though.

i suspect that has more to do with the simplicity of design on mobi sites and less to do with the browser

i bet mobi sites will look very good on the safari browser with iphone for the same reason, simple accessible design

it's interesting that both steve jobs and the guy who runs opera are both on record as being "anti" mobi, they say it isn't necessary yet their browsers make mobi look and work so well .....

i guess it never occurred to them that simple design is the answer, not fancy re-rendering by their browsers

Agreed. Able to render, or not, their POS bandwidth capabilities + processor speed would make it lame as hell to visit a graphic intensive sight intended for PC's only.
