![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | My Music related .mobi's and how they relate to one another Background: I own a nationally distributed record label called CEI / BLM. We are distributed via Red Eye(www.RedEyeUsa.com) and have penetration into stores such as Best Buy, Walmart, FYE, and the majority of the mom and pops. We have an upcoming release from Who Dem (www.whodem.mobi, mealtix.com) and our in-house brand FrankenRhymes (www.FrankenRhymes.com). Being in the music business over the past 5 years i have come to realize thats its core distribution and marketing model are very archaic and for all intensive purposes on the way out the door. The RIAA and even governmental statutory rates are also in need of being challenged and outright abolished. Over the past few years I have spent both a great deal of time and money on creating a large network of sites that target tweens, teens, and young adults. The purpose of this network is to be able to cut my marketing cost down as well as assist in artist branding. Since the advent of .mobi I have became even more inspired to create a suite of mobile applications that I can use in my quest of changing the music industry. Here are some examples: ListeningStation.mobi [Patent Pending] - Allows the ability to preview, rate, and review music on your mobile phone through the internet by means of entering a UPC code on a mobile internet page. We have also been working with mTLD internal PR and Edelman on a case study for mtld.mobi. Side Note: We hope to build significant buzz with the patent as it covers DVD and game previews as well where we can use it as leverage into a more serious distribution deal with SONY/BMG, or other major distributor. RecordPool.mobi - Industry site where A&R's, DJs, and artist submit tracks for national and international Program Directors, Music Directors, and DJs to access new music from their mobile device no matter where they are. Side Note - With RecordPool.mobi up and running it allows my label to save money promoting our artist as we now can service radio free of charge by utilizing the application instead of spending up to $2000 per song using other such services. It is also allowing us to create personal relationships with industry professionals. And last but not least is our patent pending Method of Advertising Audio Ring Tones for Purchase & Download from a Mobile Device. Here is a short abstract: SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In view of the limitations now present in the prior art, the present invention provides a new and useful Method of Advertising Audio Ring Tones for Purchase & Download from a Mobile Device, which is simpler in use, more universally functional, and more versatile in operation than known applications of this kind. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a new method of advertising audio ring tones for purchase & download from a mobile device which selectively places consumer directed advertisements on a music CD, whereby a user is prompted to access, purchase, and download media, such as song ring tones, in a digital format by means of electronic communications device such as hand held devices including mobile phone, Blackberry, Palm Pilot, Smart Phones, etc. It is also a purpose of the present invention to provide a new method of advertising audio ring tones for purchase & download from a mobile device which has many ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/dot-mobi/329685-my-music-related-mobis-how-they.html novel features not offered by prior art applications resulting in a new method of advertising audio ring tones for purchase & download from a mobile device which is not apparent, obvious, or suggested, either directly or indirectly by any prior art applications. It is to be further understood that the methods and processes for placing audio advertising in specific locations on a music CD, such as before or after a song, is intended to target music listeners who, while listening to the music CD, decide that they like a specific song or audio track on the CD. Once the song or audio track is finished playing, the user is then presented with the audio advertisement which advertises the sale and download information pertaining to the ring tones for the specific song on the CD, whereby the user would enter the product or ring tone access information or code into their mobile communications device, and then send the access information or code in the form of a SMS or text message, which is then received by the main service website wherein the user is allowed to access, purchase, and download the access code specific electronic media, or ring tone, in a digital format from the ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=329685 main service website to their mobile electronic communications device. If anyone wants more info please let me know. ----------- With my start-up AdZone.mobi / Adternate.com it is allowing us deep penetration in the mobile retail outlets where with the relationships we are making will the First Retail Release For Free this July where both the artist and labels sole revenue will be that made from the purchase of ringtones via our patent pending model directly challenging the RIAA vein of existence. Obviously there is much more to my model then is painted here but I wanted to give you an overview of some of my projects and how they relate to one another. Michael ![]() ps. Sorry for writing a book. Just wanted to share some of my madness...lol |

We are also launching an internet radio station called Rhyme.FM with 100% of in-house produced music by studio artist where we own and control all the music. In regards to my development company I have 2 developers and had to get rid of one. My core developer is back on Tuesday and then things can get back to normal. I learned a few expensive lessons recently on putting to much trust in people to finish things and got burnt. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=329685 But that's life. Live and learn. Michael | ||||

![]() | Michael, Good stuff --- great innovator, developer, creator! Inventor, film writer/producer, mobisoder, programmer, music producer, and advertising marketeer (these are some of the areas I know)... BTW - the site you developed for me should be ready for a full-blown launch in about 6 weeks -- let's keep it in stealth now -- Gents, I highly recommend Michael for web development -- more than just a coder -- provides much creative input! Steve I should say Ladies & Gents, |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sounds like you've got your act together. I look forward to seeing my "parkedpages" come alive and really like the Adbid banners. I will be looking out for future Michael offerings as well. Best of luck with all of your projects. Your success in the infancy stage of mobi will benefit all of the rest of us. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | I would like to develop my IMZ.mobi (International Music Zone), but maybe the title is too big for me.
