Mobile ad company reviews

Here is a list of mobile ad companies that I have found and my limited experience with them. I'd be interested to hear about other experiences with them and also other mobile ad companies.

For gaming, I have signed up and placed one ad on xxi.mobi. I haven't really done much with these guys either.

Yahoo is taking applications for their beta program.

I think there are others too. It is a matter of knowing where to look outside of NP and G . Get on some other sites that deal with mobile applications and development. Remember to report back your reconnosaince!

Good luck mobivelopers!

Great post Tim. I didn't know about the Yahoo beta. That is good news. Google will be right on their heels like a T-rex.

I'm real curious as to your progress with mediaplazza. They don't have any mobile sized templates and the last time I tried to talk to them about .mobi they were pretty clueless and didn't seem interested in trying to learn about it. Hopefully attitudes have changed.

I was already signed up to it. I got the same response you did regarding mobile content. But another NP member uses it to feed his very nice .mobi site. And here is what I see in the control panel:

Quote:
Mediaplazza proposes a new XML feed displaying its content; this new option will allow you to gather all the information needed in order to realize a mobile content integration just like you wanted it. You will no longer have to use the Iframes, you will just display the content where you want it, and you will have an access to the compatibility of the different mobile types.
