Aftermarket .Mobi's

I think this is the way to go now. The pace at which people are taking the remaining names is mindboggling now.

I will have about $5000 to invest in a few real premium .mobis in about a month or so.

Who thinks I can still get some good ones at that time?

The aftermarket isnt going to change in only a month.

I sincerely hope not.

I may even spend the money on 1 name. That name has to be top notch, however.

I am thinking perhaps I can buy a small group of domains for one inclusive price. I will post here when I am able to purchase, and people are welcome to submit a group for me to look at.

I've been/still am buying names in the $250-$1500 range mostly. I think it's a better strategy to buy, as you said, a small group of names, rather than 1 terrific $5,000 name. I just don't like having all my eggs in one basket so to speak. I've continued to get terrific offers on names being pmed to me and on my new thread in the .mobi marketplace and am certain that 1 month from now, you will get the same.

Pick out a niche for your development plan and good generic aftermarket names will present themselves. Start with a nice one-word generic and build out off of that. Premium names won't get any cheaper as time goes on. As that is your big ticket item which will define your mobile presence, it's best to get it as soon as you can.

A fine post here by ACC. A very perceptive look at the future and the present (and its implications) at the same time..

Look for more and more aftermarket attention.. in the beginning (around September 26) it was high, then it reached its lowest naturally; now, aftermarket is about it's price range/interest it was on September 26 (so still slow for end users) .. as a natural ascending curve.. only to rise from here on - AfTerMarKeT
