What was your initiative to promote .mobi?

I'm curious!

I have emailed over 20 companies now ... explaining them the benefits of dotmobi and trying to convince them by showing competitors in their same industry field that make use of .mobi ... no one wants to be behind ... so if one newspaper agency starts using .mobi ... the rest will follow ....

if visa is using .mobi ... mastercard may follow .....

This is how i am trying my best to contribute to the .mobi community.

At the same time i am working on developments of my dotmobi sites.

I just e-mailed 1800flowers.com yesterday to tell them that they should promote their 1800flowers.mobi (which is up, forwarding to a non-.mobi mobile site) on their home page, as they're missing out on a great opportunity to get the word out to more people that they can order from them via their cellphones.

mStart is not official (not by google), I don't recommend talking about this websites to big companies.

Agreed ... but they should include, if not specifically target, actual Developer / End user / Manufacturer (Cell phones) forums!

Another thought ... don't you think some of your Reg. fee's should pay for mTLD to be doing this promotion for you, as well?
