Thanks. Google ads are scarce, but wordtracker estimates 5K searches per day. WorldWar2 has about 12.8k per day, that one was taken however.

Yes, on the google keyword search activity, the searches go way down in summer! Most students are not in school then, that makes perfect sense.

The other plus to this is that many searchers would probably run all of the words together which could generate a significant amount of type-in traffic.

Good reg to me at this stage. Speculation, but I would expect kids to use their phones to do their assignements etc...
(just a side note: be careful with OVT with this kind of names if you check only one month; it does not look obvious that you can have big variations, but for example I have ancientegypt: OVT was 53800 in December and is now 15309)

Being ex forces i thought about it ages ago and regged ww1,mobi and ww2,mobi they seem to get quite a few hits! Hopefully a good investment!

Ken Burns' 14 part series "THE WAR" (about WW II) will air in July --- I'd develop some content and spin it his way - could be a great marketing tool to reach younger viewership - snippets/clips

Thanks for all the comments. I think whoever owns ww2 or ww1 is going to be happiest of all. Good fit for .mobi becaus of the shortness, and I think those two get the most searches if I'm not mistaken.

They all get MASSIVE amounts of searches (except in the summer!)

Cheers garrett200 for your nice comments on my two ww .mobi's ww1 gets a few hits by by far the superior one (for hits anyway) is ww2

Don't know what i'm gonna do with them yet but i think a sort of diary of the wars would be good such as on this day in 1942 this happened etc etc could make for an educational site about what happened etc etc

Dont forget lads, 2014 is the 100 year anniversary of WW1!! It's gonna be big!!! So i wouldn't trash these names just yet!!! In the UK i can imagine there will be possibly some street parties and lots of military parades, shows, etc etc.

nothing like paying for reg fees for the next 7 years for a one time anniversary. ww2 is 2039. 32 years of reg fees till the 100th ann kicks in. sounds like a real sensible plan.
