| www.LLLL.com Forum Moderator | Really depends on the names... I own 3 high OVT names myself -- antioxidants.mobi (27K OVT), DietandNutrition.mobi (40k+ OVT), and SpicyFoods.mobi (1000K+ OVT). My favorite is hands down, antioxidants.mobi, despite 1/40th the OVT of SpicyFoods.mobi |

| Forum Moderator Forum Moderator | Reese, I do believe you might end up being the antioxidant guy of the mobile web! Not a bad title to hold, IMO. On the topic, If its a one word name, no matter WHAT the language, I would reg it immediately! What u waiting for? Get it before I find it!! |

I've made a thread in the .MOBI marketplace -- trying to buy out all names related to antioxidants so I can have a monopoly And yes, if it's a one worder, I'm agreeing that you should reg it immediately!

Poor Reece... so so sad... you need a new niche my friend. Your antioxidant campaign makes no sense. Just being real with you my friend. -James

Yes, I'd probably be better off dropping the full 10k on a very, very good dotmobi, rather than blowing 10k on antioxidant related ones, but I really have no interest in anything outside the nutrition field and I'm the type of person who can't be burdened to do something that doesn't interest me (i.e. building a whole website on a city/country dotmobi). I'm happy with what I have currently and feel that if I ever needed to sell my names due to unfortunate circumstances, that I could probably get back most of what I've invested. Other than that, I have no concerns. If anyone else finds their nutrition related names useless, please send me a PM, preferably selling them for a 'useless-like' price But seriously speaking, I'm on the hunt for good health/nutrition/antioxidant names and would be happy to take them off your -- or anyone else's hands for a fair price.

| NamePros Regular | antioxidant is certainly not a bad name but i don't think it has as much mobile punch as something like heartburn heartburn seems to me to be something that would cause people to pick up the nearest mobile to do something whereas antioxidant doesn't quite have the pressing need-to-know quality as far as health and nutrition names i think it's a very good niche for the mobile market |

| Forum Moderator Forum Moderator | My belief is that ANYTHING is going to be good in this market eventually. People will search for anything and everything, I don't know why some of you think there has to be a tie in to the mobile niche. Sure, initially it will be mobile type things, but once Joe Shmo starts to use this, he'll be looking for anything from free beer to where's the best place to get cigarettes. |

Since less people are interested in for example heartburn (taking the above example), you could get a much, much larger share of that market, which may in the end make it as worthwhile as a name more related to cell phones. Of course, that's just my opinion and it's totally unfounded in any statistics I have currently -- i.e. antioxidants.mobi's hits are from NP users mostly and not cell phone users generally interested in reading up on antioxidants, however I believe, like Garrette said, that in the future dotmobi will be used in a way comparable to dotcom.

| NamePros Regular | following your passion Quote:
The point is that whether it's domain names, a hobby, or a career path - when you see someone with a real passion for something you should step back, admire their drive, encourage them, and learn something from it. Everyone should be so fortunate as to find a passion or two in their life. We're here to share ideas, learn from each other, buy and sell a few names, and generally pursue our own domaining "passion". It's not "sad" to follow your passion ... it's sad when you can't appreciate seeing someone else enjoying theirs. -acc

| Account Suspended | ...is the name appropriate to the .mobi or mobile crowd? ...is the high OVT due to some event or news? ...is the OVT consistent month after month? Keep in mind that the OVT numbers you see now are last month totals (march). If it doesn't make sense as a mobi or does not sound right as a mobi, high OVT for a "word(s)" does not guarantee any success for any domain name. |

I'm sure someone would reg them. But with a great mobi directory or yellow page like format, if I truly needed one I would most like go to the directory I know and familiar with. Of course, we have no idea what word he is talking about. I think alot of this is definitely opinion based but I try to approach it from the sense of the here and now. What best suits the .mobi crowd today? What can I get out there right now that will have some impact?

| www.LLLL.com Forum Moderator | Even those I could see help with... Situation: Dad's driving home from work when he gets a phone call... "Daddy! Daddy! Water's leaking everywhere." Daddy's a computer guy, not a plumber and with the rates those plumbers are charging lately... Dad types up some website, say... sewage.mobi while rushing home and by the time he gets home, he's identified the source of the problem thanks to what his little girl has described and what he has researched on his cell phone |
