   | Tripple A .mobi Looks new to me (Developed) I was just checking to see if there were anymore live mobi websites from any big companies and I stumbled across AAA.mobi. The url redirects to a non mobi address but it doesn't tell the user otherwise. The main mobile website just indicates it's AAA's mobile website which is awesome that they are using .mobi for it. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/dot-mobi/317906-tripple-mobi-looks-new-me-developed.html I could not find any indication of them promoting a mobile website on AAA.com let alone a .mobi site so they probably didn't officially launch it yet. I also checked the whois and it appears they last updated the website in February which is a good sign. It's a nifty site. I hope more people do some digging around here. I want to be suprised too with what you find! |

Or Possibly someone is just very clever and decided to take the name and develop a very convincing site out of it so it wouldn't be taken away from them. Either way, I like the site.  | ||||

Now, if AAA.com acquiries AAA.mobi ... and then builds a fully suited .MOBI compliant .MOBI website, AND then promotes and  markets it, etc. I think we might be on to something, IMHO.  ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=317906 The thread title with "developed" .MOBI is misleading, but I know it was not intentional ... in my humblest. http://www.wipo.int/amc/en/domains/c...2006-0199.html Seems that AAA challenged the registration and won a transfer. So either the transfer hasn't officially happened yet but is indeed forwarding to its rightful owner, or they neglected to change the Whois info when they took control.

Jeff, despite aaa forwarding to a different address it's a fully compliant mobi site. It scores a 5/5 so that's encouraging aswell. In all honesty. It doesn't really matter where .mobi sites with different end addresses forward to. I'm sure AAA would much rather promote AAA.mobi than http://mobile.aaa.com/mcs/Login.do? | ||||
