Trips.mobi and Travelagents.mobi

I have decided to give Sedo another try, and just sent the following two domains to auction:

Trips.mobi Starting bid $1250
Travelagents.mobi Starting bid $1850

The URLs are:

They are both good names relating to the travel idnustry, but personally I find Trips.mobi clearly the best one.

They run for a week, please let me know your expectations.

surely at LEAST 5 figures for travelagents.
get sedo to contact endusers for you. they will if you supply a list of people you want contacted.
get the sedo broker to earn his keep

If I owned those I wouldn't sell them right now for any amount of money. I wish I had the extra cash, I'd definitely bid to get them.

Travel Agent is over 50K on Overture and I'm sure high on Google too. Truly awesome name, highly searched. Travelagents.mobi is my favorite of the two, by far.

it seems you already met the reserve price for Trips.mobi at $ 1250. If that is so then congrats on selling it.

I had one question, how do you send your domains to auction on sedo? i have few domains which i would like to send it to auction on sedo.
Based on what i read on sedo it says that only after the domain gets any bid only then it goes to auction. is that true? or can i send it directly to auction irrespective of any bids.

Why would anyone sell now, especially a great name? Why not keep it and turn it into a lottery ticket?

Both of these names would be pots of gold when .mobi takes off.

IF the .MOBI is adopted, I like "Trips" as a Travel / Tickets / Getaway / Vacation website, specifically developed and marketed for on-the-go mobile users, IMHO.

Garrett200: as Scandiman already noticed, if .mobi takes off in a grand way I still have quite a few jackpot winners left.

Ipodxpert: the normal way to start an auction at Sedo is after you receive an initial bid, as I did in these two cases.

I see that Trips.mobi already has three bidders. Not bad for the first day.

Nice for you hanogl. I would probably be happy owning 10% of your portfolio! I think we will all do well with mobi, but if it takes off there is no question some of us here will be in 7 or 8 figures. (low 6's for me)

I just realised that both auctions will be ending at terrible times, either Sunday late or Monday very early. Not really the best time to get buyers into a bidding war.
You all make sure to get your bids in before you start celebrating the weekend!
