Check out my selling experiment for today.. bringing outsiders to NP and Dot Mobi..

Hi friends..

Today I am going deep see fishing!

With Adwords and JapaneseFood.mobi

Trying to catch the big enduser price sale fish!

I signed up for an Adwords Google campaign..

On it I am asking people to broker my Dot Mobis, and the link on the ad goes to my brokering thread in the Dot Mobi marketplace at our very own Namepros!

Great exposure method to the mainstream.. for Dot Mobi, Namepros, and domains..

????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/dot-mobi/310669-check-out-my-selling-experiment-today.html
I am only trying $10 max today.. by describing it as a brokering opportunity, it is suggesting also that the name is up for direct sale as well..

I wonder if any newbies will join us from today, because I have seen guests already on my buried thread right away..

Only $10 max for me in a limited time, today..

Google search engine keywords for my ad are:

japanese food
japanese restaurant
japanese restaurants
dotmobi
dot mobi
mobi
.mobi

(eh.. don't click on the ad.. hehe $$! Just use the link in my signature pls)

Exciting day with hope to catch the big one!

What do you think of this strategy?

Kind Regards,

Yelo

You are very nice to give your money to Google. Those keywords are not targeted for selling domains. People who want to eat sushi will skim over your promo. They are looking for sushi, not the domain sushi.

Why not target domain names as a keyword?. Or domains for sale. Many other keywords for selling domains. The category for japanese food is huge. Narrow your keyword search to those who are interested in purchasing domains.

How about "food domain name for sale" or "purchase food domains". If you leave out domains, you are targeting a huge search term and your clicks will be totally untargeted and thus your results the same.

Its a wonderfl idea, your money, even though a small amount will be gone faster than the teenagers in your family after you hand them the car keys.

Its a great idea, I have my own site for selling domains and I often use Google to get a little extra traffic to it. I always use the term "domains for sale" in my promo.

I think Yelo is looking to get the attention of entrepreneurs, not someone (domainers/resellers) in the market to buy "domains for sale". Maybe catching them based on the appeal of the name and .mobi concept.

Well good luck with it.

Adwords is all about testing. Testing is good. But it is better if it is a very defined test.

Bad,

Why would someone typing in "japanese restaurants" have any interest in brokering japaneserestaurants.mobi? Even if they did what would they know about how to sell a domain?

its only 10 dollars you may pull in a buyer, if your lucky.

yet I think you need to look at other aspects of you campaign, yet its only testing so its ok I guess.
