I would take it that in this case "no reviews is not good reviews". I'll just have to try a little harder.

I am an investor, but a developer not a flipper. I like to construct simple content sites centered around specific categories then network them together. When the time is write I'd offer a site up to one of its advertisers. It's a good formula. A domain has more worth with targeted traffic and a "home" built on it.

I dont think the names are worth anything. They could end up being worth something with development but so could any name if developed.

Buildout

Scandiman, thank you for your inquiries.

All of these will be resource sites,

FiftyStates - This domain is to become the central hub for all of my Stateof....mobis. That is quite a collection and it will be my biggest undertaking by far, but it will make for a great state resource center and because I have all fifty states it will get some good traffic.

FourthofJuly - The name speaks for itself. This will be a listing site for Fourth of July events as well as a place where people can post pics.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/dot-mobi/310105-mobi-review.html

Infancy - Those early days of a child’s life are the most important. Infancy.mobi will be a central place where mothers can go to find information, links, and FAQ's on keeping their baby healthy and happy.

OutdoorParks - Ahhh, the great outdoors. Who doesn't love a bit a fresh air. There are so many parks of varying varieties I couldn't pass up listing all the best places with this one. 88k on OVT doesn't hurt either.

Narrative - Everyone likes to share their stories. Narrative gives visitors a place to show off their writings. It will also be a place where stories can be built in a wiki communal way. Ads for the latest books and authors will be here.

RealtyCompany – Realty is big online and here one can search the best companies and post reviews and their own buyer/seller experiences. I have a few local companies ready to promote on this site.

QuickRecipe – Picture yourself stuck in the kitchen, your friends paid you a surprise visit and you’ve offered to whip them up some good eats. Now it’s time for a good quick recipe. Set your phone to QuickRecipe.mobi, scan through the different cuisine categories and select from some quick and easy dishes. There are some good ad prospects with this one.

To use Jeff's word, built out sites with usable content adds to the ecosystem of the .mobi space.

Surprised to see the high OVT on OutdoorParks, especially considering the related results. I wonder if it is an error?

Most of these projects will be very deep if developed to their potential, Which one are thinking of working on first?

Scandiman,

Thank you for the review, insight and PM. That is what I asked for. Sometimes I wonder about the motives and purposefulness of these forums but in my experience thus far the good has outweighed any cut and paste responses.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=310105

I did check the OVT results in a previous month and they were different but still high. I suppose it could be an anomaly. I'll know better with next months results. If it drops significantly I may have to rethink that one.

Regretably Yahoo plans on dumping OVT in the near future for the new payed service they have launched. That was a great idea you suggested for OVT to have a history you could access to check current results. Their new service may offer this though I haven't tried it yet. I sent you a REP.

I agree they will be deep but I think with the amount of time it is going to take before .MOBI is fully mainstream I'll have ample opportunity to build them out. FiftyStates.mobi is the first of this group that I'm working on and it is propbably going to take the longest. But by owning all 50 Stateof...mobis it will also have the most value.

Best to you on your projects.

I like the concept behind this cluster of names. Built in relevant cross linking can only help your SEO. Any one can be a point of entry that exposes a user to the overall brand.

I wondered this myself. It's mearly a statement, a space filler, or a cut and paste. User Jeff goes more for quantity than quality and that's fine.

FreeFlowers.mobi
MobiTLD.mobi

IMHO, and my suggestion (as noted in bold in my post) ... these .MOBI domains would need to be developed to be worth anything more than Reg. fee's!

Here's the post with the suggestion:

Righto, I rarely, if ever, put any actual thought into my opinions and posts ... my main focus is on attaining 25K posts as soon as robotically possible!

Good Luck with your 200+ .MOBI's, friend ... I like RealtyCompany as the "best pick" for the aforementioned developments, IMHO.

User Jeff,

Ofclean questioned your statements validity as being that of an opinion. I agree that you merely gave a statement (late as it was). I never asked for the value of these names. In my experience here thus far your responses tend to give the appearance as cut and paste. My comment was not an assessment of your career here but I am sure if I were to review your thread responses most of them would carry the similar theme. If you wish to not be seen in this light in the future I would suggest making more fulfilling statements such as this,

Quote:
I like RealtyCompany as the "best pick" for the aforementioned developments, IMHO.
Too bad it wasn't sooner than later.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=310105

I do not know you, let alone well enough to be your friend. Statements such as that can only be construed as passive aggressive and I do not have friends like that.

You must have missed the 3 1/2 years prior to your joining that I was more prompt and thorough with my responses ... but I respect your opinion, and I won't bother you again with your threads. You had posted, "Please let me know what you think of these names" and I shared, humbly, "I like RealtyCompany as the "best pick" for the aforementioned developments, IMHO." My opinion must not be to your liking ... and that's fine.

Sorry for any inconvenience, friend!

What are you mentioning my names for? Are you trying to say that my names are bad too? Those are my names that I have up for trade. I guarantee your mobi portfolio is much worse than mine.

nrmillions,

Quote:

Actually, you do not know what my portfolio is so I will give you the insight you lack. My portfolio is certainly better than what you portray your own to contain.

Judging by your statement it would seem you have some refunds coming. For someone who buys sometimes obscure names, some with dashes, your opinion as to values is certainly one that holds little weight with me. I didn't ask for values and if that is the best you have than I would suggest sticking with accounting and not R&D.

------------------------------------------

Jeff,

I liked the your statement about RealtyCompany, it was just a little late. I'm sure that after that many posts it would tend to get watered down. Yet, that being the case such posts could lead to situations. I wish I had joined these forums sooner. I only recently came across it on DNjournal.

If staying away from my threads is your best solution I can respect that. Best to you
