It's interesting to see DomainTools adding their opinion on .mobi. I think their comparison to .Tel is inaccurate because the two extentions will fulfill completely different roles.

wow...your right that guy or girl is an idiot...they need to get some new writers for that site that actually know something about domaining...the best agrument was that .tel is just 3 letters and .mobi is 4 so .tel will win the battle...OMG

This article gives new meaning to the phrase unintentionally funny!

I can think of only three theories that would explain this right now:

1. Their intern empowerment program has gone badly wrong; or

2. They've been hacked by a script-kiddie; or

3. The renaming of the site has hit their search engine rankings really badly, so they've finally decided to embrace link-bating in a troll-like kind of way.

Don't have the time right now but I wish somebody could get permission to re-publish it here in its full glory before they remove it from their site.
