.Mobi awareness needed for end-users

Maybe the .Mobi guys should start spending some of the money they make from the .mobi auctions on advertising campaigns in business related magazines, tv and other related media to make end-users aware of the .mobi extension. .Mobi needs content and to get content end-users are needed.

Yeah u right.
Still there is no advertisment of mobi. People don't know what is it.
Mtld got tons of money, so they just could spend a bit to promote .mobi.
If they wont do it, it will take 2-10 years to get ppl know about mobi

I think it's too soon to blow the ad budget - not enough sites up and running (yup, guilty as charged your honour)

Why do you think the first 400,000 names were reg'd for 2 year minimum?

As it is, I'm quite happy with the small traffic I'm seeing at this stage - I didn't expect any.

Have patience, better to do it properly than just quickly - least that's what the wife says (I don't always agree with her - I'm getting really good at sex; got it down to under 2 minutes!)

Hi Jasdon
Not talking about people who are going to surf the .mobi sites. Talking about reaching potential buyers of .mobi who will put up content. Corporations, businesses, companies big and small ect. Reach out to them and sell them the .mobi idea and how it will be good for their business. Sell them the idea that .Mobi is needed and that the potential market is out there for them to exploit. Get my point?
Regards
Fred
