Although I still don't think that all CVCV are really pronouncable and there are many pronouncables that are not CVCV, still four good letter pronouncables are some of the best remaining .mobis that can be registered, in my opinion. Quality is the key, though. There are a lot of these that may prove to be of little value.
For those who do not know:
C = consonant
V = vowel
CVCV are four letter names that have consonants and vowels in that order. Domainer conventional wisdom is that these are pronouncable, and thus more valuable.
If current purchase rates continue, I think they will be all sold in 10-14 months.
At the end of that period, a large number of single year registration drops will occur. So, it'll probably take 16 months or so for a reseller market to develop. Whether CVCV.mobis are able to exceed cumulative registration fees by the time they have reseller value is the big question.
I have looked through the entire list of good letter CVCVs. As an English speaker, they all appear quite pronounceable. You might note that I do not include Q,X,Z as "good" consonants, nor Y as a "good" vowel.
i just nailed another 4 tonight couldn't resist.
didn't bother with nnnn personall
obviously the best numbers will be valuable, 2000 etc but in .com cvcv are always sought after & i think if you pick the right ones, these could be little nuggets
i think they'll all suddenly go like nnnn. last time i said that , inside 12 hours the nnnn disappeared. mjnels is my witness
With NNNN there was a big buyer who was taking them a thousand at a time, waiting a few days and taking a thousand more. An interesting strategy, and apparently a good one - NNNN.mobis seem to start at $75 now - correct me if I am wrong.
One guy bought about 5000 NNNN.mobis. Questions are if someone will do the same for CVCV - and if CVCV really is a distinct enough market to be priced independantly of the huge LLLL.mobi pool.
Has anyone seen NNNN.mobi sales? I picked up a few 2446/ 2344/ 5564 and 1 NNNNN 75000 for the hell of it I believe short catchy/brandable CVCV or CVVC will have some pretty good values (I hope) in time. Just reg about 125 of them recently.

Starting at $1 !!!
I personally more like short catchy/brandable CVCV comparing to NNNN.mobi or even some LLL mobi. I prefer SOTA.mobi to ZKQ.mobi. For that reason regged 50 of them.
I based the $75 number on a couple of selling threads (one for $75, one $100) that had not, when I saw them, found buyers (thus my comment: "correct me if I am wrong"). Since then I saw 6488.mobi go for $50 and a couple offered at $30 each gobbled up within less than an hour of the thread posting. So it appears NNNN.mobi have had a nice price gain right out of the gate.
But I am certainly not going to let one of mine go to test the market!
When I see a surge in registrations, I'll do another scan. For now, these two lists (comprising starting letters B through J) are holding fairly steady with one or two registrations per day. I updated them both today:
