Here is the relevant text of the article:

"Houston-based Heritage Texas Properties has created an online service for shoppers allowing them to search for properties on an Internet-enabled mobile phone.

The Web site, htex.mobi, has a search feature that links directly to the Houston Association of Realtors Multiple Listing Service database.

Potential buyers can view pictures of a property, its listing price and schedule a showing from their phone.

The service also has links to cab companies, area restaurants and weather reports.

Real estate firms are creating new ways to market properties online as more buyers shop for homes there. Last year, 80 percent of consumers who bought homes used the Internet during the process.

A Texas home builder is using podcasts to hawk its homes.

Austin-based Taylor Woodrow uses video and audio podcasts, which can be viewed on MP3 and MP4 devices and standard computers, to feature live motion video images and an audio track with detailed sales information.

The company likes the podcasting concept so much that it's now researching ways to offer a digital homeowners manual that can be downloaded on an iPod.

i agree, i wonder what it takes to tie into a mls ... i'm thinking you have to be a licensed broker or have an agreement with one - i'm a licensed realtor but i'm not privy to this type of info.

this is great to see

i have to believe that there is only one missing piece to complete the mobi domain

gps and mapping integration .... when this gets added mobi will be unstoppable

instead of entering a zipcode you go out for a drive, open your phone go to htex.mobi and see everything for sale within a mile of where you are

i think this is just around the corner

it's here now in some ways but not at the fully implemented stage yet
