| Senior Member | WineLog.mobi up I just came across a nice developed .Mobi site: http://winelog.mobi. It seems to be a pretty handy service for mobile use. There's what appears to be a good wine database, and you can sign up and rate wines yourself, so that you could check what that merlot you liked so much last year was while you're at the wine store... |

i am hoping that wine lovers will be wanting to do research on their mobiles especially while traveling i have winemaps.mobi as well as a bunch of place names wineaustralia, bcwine, winedirectory etc also check out: http://www.wines.mobi/, which is doing virtually the same thing as winelog

I can easily visualize going to a nice restaurant and while looking over their wine menu, pulling out your mobile devise and getting detailed information on a particular brand/year right on the spot.

what sparked my interest was the fact that i know you can buy dedicated wine rating pocket computers, they do nothing else, just rate wines since most wine lovers will have mobile phones, i think we both hope it's a winner the next question is how long to hold and what is the value in the event of a sale you might be interested in this site: http://www.winemarketer.com/ he has a bunch of dot com wine names in his forums and he is the guy that owns wines.mobi i own regional names for bc wines , australian wines and washington wines, i hope that wineries from these areas will be interested in buying my names to redirect to their site part of the issue of putting up a mobi site: i.e. winedirectory.mobi is that not enough wine related mobi's exist yet, but i hope that will change quickly
