Sometimes i truly wonder about the value of my names because i never ask for opinions... always nice to stay "grounded" as they say. I start thinking about a domain or two with the initial thought that "they are great", but i cant help but wonder if its all in my head at times..

they are handregs from like 5 hours after landrush... i was suprised these wernt preregistered by someone.. i believe they were reg'd in the same wind as i did Advertisers, GPSnavigation, FastFoods, EMailAddress, LiveVideos, etc.. all sitting unregged in the wild hours after landrush

yep, good times.. except that was part of the problem back then.. so many names were available i found myself questioning .mobi's that would without a doubt now sell for 10-100 times their registration fee.

However, you are not one with too many worries about having good regs! With your collection, you could run the whole 'mobi internet!!'

i.e. bofa.mobi or citi.mobi or wells.mobi what bank would be likely to use bankaccount.mobi as it's wireless banking portal ? people relate to their banks by their names not by a generic term i could see it used a shopping site to compare accounts or costs or interest rates or especially as a site to help people choose a new bank etc but not as a wireless banking portal

yep, thats how i think of it too.. but i guess a bank could redirect users to their own site with it..

I questioned them too. I let some amazing names go looking only for 'mobile' use stuff. doh.

It definitely lends quite a bit of prestige for a bank to be able to say that they own that, and certainly makes for nice simplicity for their customers. That's what makes generics so great!

wireless banking will be huge i could see it suceeding as a referral site where people would go to find a new bank, especially one that offered good wireless options, you could probably develop a good affiliate program referring people to new bank signups or even do the signup yourself and then refer people but this whole thing is really going to be have so secure and failsafe i really hope that the big banks actually start to buy and use mobi's instead of just doing a mobile version of their dot coms which is what they are doing in europe i believe

because of overture. it's what people type in. when traffic picks up for mobi, which of course it will, these will be highly desirable for a bank to fill with their information. or you could pack full of affiliates. the term in the uk is current account( which i own )alliance & leicester bank bought up the com & co.uk 's in 97 while the others were sleeping. check them out. overture is through the roof. great names, worth a LOT
