texasgamer thanks, actually that name is putting me in trouble - three of the mymusic domains with diff tld wants it and the max they have gone so far is 25K which i thought was good until one of my friend told me that it is worth between 40K-50K as also MyFriends. Please advice what to do

frank_view thanks for your observation also, i believe you realize the importance of dot mobi domains quite well as you see the relation between the name and a relevant wap domain - not all domains will work for a mobile phone - as of now the best choice would be in downloads and local services - so music, stocks, news, hotels and sex, games, adult games will sell much faster Maybe you missed HotPoker.mobi in the list!

Out of these music is highest as the first association of a mobile phone with Internet was thru music downloads - ringtones etc. and people now want to store their lot in some kind of a wap locker so that they download as and when required - mobile memory is eaten up mostly by videos.

I have developed one site so far : http://www.hotclips.mobi and the search ranking and traffic is good.

The next site - i am planing to launch tonight is mobidomains.mobi - a service to all dot mobi sellers who have a developed site or at least one page domain. It will serve as a directory and also help to improve ranking - plus some tools for setting up a ppc site.

Hi JS,

Someone mentioned about your site, hotclips.mobi on NP couple of days back as a very good site. It is indeed a very good site, the only problem I see is that it does not show properly on the cell phone emulator. Have you checked it on the emulator at mtld.mobi or on the mobile phone ?.

Hi Vcool,

Thanks for the compliment - we are in the process of developing the wap site - with a little less clutter - just the title/channels and videos - also the current player is flash and the video files are all converted to flash for playing - we are either embedding a java player for mobile phones or direclty linking the original videos ... any suggestions welcome.
