Brilliant idea -- and laugh all you want that I broke my "vow," Hawkeye, but I just registered "iClubs.mobi"! And after seeing the OVT on "clubs," I'm very happy that I did!

Yeah, and I wonder how the 58 .mobis will be released and more importantly how they will be promoted on the SEDO site. Maybe a news headline/story in the right sidebar area, a nice article in their monthly members email, or a banner on the front page??? And maybe now they will move up the .mobi extension in the drop down list. That would be nice.

Quick draw Hawkeye. I normally don't particularly like the i and e prefix names but that one could be very, very nice when developed. (Or very profitable if flipped.) Good luck with it.

It's that I've seen that 'vow' so many times! Admit it dag, you're addicted!! LOL. Or, are you finally 'finished' for now.

I have (had) iclubs on my list too. There's a lot of 'i' names still available, I just am trying to pick my battles with which are the most 'mobi' applicable. I only have 3 regged so far - iRoses, iRestaurants, and iRomance. (hmm, all R words) Have you, or anyone considered the 'm' prefix? Awful lot of them regged already too. I just have one of those - mLocal, cause I think local searches will be a big thing with mobi devices. Good luck with iClubs, that could have some legs to it.

Oh, I admit it...it's impossible to deny! And no, I guess I'm not really finished -- I also picked up "atmnetwork.mobi" and "valentinecard.mobi" at the same time.

iRestaurants is an especially nice grab! I'm not too convinced of the "m" prefix myself -- I have yet to see clear evidence of it catching on in the real world of the Internet. Just here at NP.

I thought the new in-thing was mKeyword for mobile? eKeyword and iKeyword just dont' seem to fit the mobile market. I would think mRoses.mobi or mClub.mobi would make more sense? Am I wrong?

btw..I see that mRoses.mobi and mClub.mobi are already taken...guess I am right.

I don't know how well mKeyword will do, but with "iPhone" making such a big splash, I think iKeyword will still be a good choice for mobile.

I would rather see them placed with industry leaders who will develop them. Yes, some end users will get into the auctions, but many will not and many of the best names will therefore become parking pages. When Pinky was here I noticed he was talking about auctioning the premiums, not placing them, although they are placing news.mobi, weather.mobi and a couple more.
