Is website.in reputable?

so far no problems... snapnames uses them as one of their registrars.... so i was forced to use them. but no problems so far i guess... although i forget which sites i have with them

Dan, if you are looking for cheap .MOBI registration, try www.whiz.in for only $18 total, 2 years. I've got a lot of names there, and can report only good things. They also use a Directi reseller backend, so the controls are familiar. Pushes to new accounts within the system are quick and easy, and transfers in/out are easy, but usually take about a week to complete. The owner is also a NamePros member.

yea i'd say it is the same backend... website.in was directi prior

Yes, that's correct.

They are using the same company as their backend, Directi/ResellersClub.

Also see: www.iplox.com and www.resellers.co.in for other examples of the same basic reseller system. But all are owned by different people.

If you have time left in your domains you dont have to TRANSFER. You can use the FREE PUSH feature of DirectI. Basically you have to do "Move Services" in your Domain name panel.

Just need your customer # and email with your new Registrar. You can PUSH or MOVE between any Directi Resellers like whiz.in or iplox.com . This information is not very commonly available as some resellers choose not to reveal that they are reselling from DirectI.

Yes, Directi (aka ResellersClub/PDR) are ICANN accredited, in business for many years.

2. How long is it in business?
Tk will have to answer that. Personally, I've been using his services for about 6 months.

3. How do you compare its prices to Directi or website.in?
Overall, about the cheapest I've found, without having to make a deposit or start your own reseller account.

4. Finally: Will my domains be SAFE with Whiz.in?
I've had a Directi reseller go out of business before, so this was an important issue for me. The good news is that even if your reseller's site goes offline or out of business, Directi has a separate url where clients of that reseller can still log-in to manage their domains. And of course they offer the standard safety features "domain locking" etc. I've been using various Directi resellers (even before Whiz.in) for 2 years with no problems.

As long as your domains are maintained in a resellerclub account your domains are protected by the normal ICANN rules. Even if the reseller goes down, you can still contact DirectI or ResellerClub and provide your information and get your domain(s) in your account easily.

I am not sure about the time but I have seen whiz.in just recently here so I would say less than a year.

I have not personally used Whiz.in but my friend has and loved the service.

ResellerClub is a VERY high profile reseller area. They are #2 on the total amount of domains bought from a reseller following eNom's..

Whiz.in will complete 1 year in Jan 2007. I have been on NP for almost 2 yrs .

You domains are safe with Whiz.in or any DirectI reseller. There is an alternate URL through which you can access your domains if a reseller goes out of business.

If any DirectI reseller went out of business, you can signup with any other reseller and use "Move Services" to move your domains.....all your domains will be transfered ( PUSHED) to the new reseller for FREE.

On whiz.in if you pay by Paypal you will get the prices you see on the website. if you pay by credit card, you have to add a small transaction fee of 2.9% +30 cents on your total cart amount.

Why can we offer cheap prices? and quality service ?
Simple terms, We have NO advertising cost & very minimum infrastructure costs.

Wondering why the leading domain companies charge more than 35$ (some registrars in the UK, charging GBP 35) for a single .mobi registration.

Why the price varies with different registrars?

Who decides the price? MTLD or ICANN?

How it is possible for ResellersClub to offer .mobi for that industry lowest price?

Please explain.
