I see that the following domains were regged soon after I published them here:

NICENET.mobi
Compus.mobi
Escapades.mobi

What gets me is that Mustafa Patel and danmanmktng(Dan Averbuck) who regged these names did not bother to thank me for suggesting these names. This will now stop me me from publishing any more available names. I dont see why I go to the trouble of doing this if people just grab them and dont bother to leave a thank you posting. BAH!!!!

Being someone who makes lists of available names daily, I understand where you are coming from. I've discovered, however, that in the long run, things like this really shouldn't upset you. Publishing lists and pretty much getting nothing in return (I haven't even set up adsense on regfee.info yet, and may not for a while) can make you feel unappreciated. However, every now and then I get a "Thanks for the great name Regfee" rep point or a blog reader asking "great site, do you have an rss feed?" and it makes up for all those times when I don't feel loved. I'd like to think I have an ok reputation on this forum, most importantly, I don't think anyone can say anything bad about me. The second I start complaining that I'm not being appreciated, however, then I kind of lose that respect I've earned.

So, what you may want to start doing is only making available the names that you absolutely do not want to register, that way when someone takes it without giving credit, then it won't be so bad.

And always remember that there are a ton of possibilities for domain names, especially with a new extension like .mobi, and sometimes a coincidence is just that.

Have a good night, and don't let a few bad apples ruin it for the people who care.

Thanks dudes. Look I am not worried about rep points or stuff like that but a simple thanks is all I,m really doing it for. Just a sign that ones effort is being appreciated. This is not the first time I published a list and it's not the first time names were taken from a list I published without a thanks but it is the first time I said something about it. Methinks it is a small effort for those persons to just say thanx you know. It is more effort to go and reg those names for them.

Well I guess now I,ve gone and worn my heart on my sleave.

Nah dude it is fine, no biggy. I understand you search hard for a domain list you atleast expect a comment of some kind. However we don't need to put a new thread about them. I have sent them each a PM asking to send you a thanks or something.

It,s cool Inod. Perhaps I should have said nothing. My purpose was not to evoke sympathy. I dont need that. It was more a spur of the moment sort of flash like why do I bother. But yes..it's no big deal. I know. I hope those names bring the reggers good luck though. They are pretty good names.
