Do you guys ever go for domains with - in them..

such as train-times.mobi

Basically 2 schools of thought on this. Not trying to avoid answering, but this AM I've got very little time. I see you're pretty new to this board, and perhaps to the .mobi game as well. Spend a lot of time studying the mobi threads. Both here and at the other board. You'll see the opinions. On your own, make damn sure you have a good idea of how people will be keying mobi domains into their handhelds. Both now, and possibly later. If you aren't a big-time "texter", find one, and learn how they do it. I ended up getting "schooled" by my daughter's 3rd grade teacher, who claims he's one of the fastest! Okay... really out of time now. Later...

The only "-" name that I would have registered (at the time it was available) was ny-ny. But it was gone moments after I posted my thoughts.

I'm generally avoiding them for .mobi, but I do have a few (the last two very recent, for obvious reasons):

3-1.mobi
B-G.mobi
D-G.mobi
E-L.mobi
DVD-R.mobi
Lap-top.mobi
Lap-tops.mobi

i would stay away from the dash unless you get a couple L-L or N-N. If you do end up buying some names with dashes just make sure that the dash separates 2 different words or that the real spelling has a dash in it. Dont use the dash to put in the middle of one word such as as-ia.mobi or broad-cast.mobi or to put in between each letter such as e-u-r-o-p-e.mobi
