![]() | Are you sure this is HDTV on the actual mobile device? as this requires something like 24Mb download speed i thought I had heard. This is probably similar to Orange in the UK where if you take a mobile phone you get free broadband landline internet, the HD TV is probably via the landline. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | on their site they say everywhere in zone 3G+ covered. Actually it's only auround big cities and with a 3G+ phone compatible. They are advertising a lot for this on TV and newspapers. In UK orange they don't suggest it ? |

![]() | I stand corrected.. I've found the offer described in English: http://www.telecommagazine.com/NewsG...asp?ID=AR_2567 Its based on the new HSDPA standard using DVB-H specification rather than the DVB-T that people will most associate HDTV (the sort you get on a big TV) with. But looks very interesting, and a flat rate of 12 euros is cheap as hell! |

http://www.swisscom-mobile.ch/scm/pr...ive_tv-fr.aspx They are indeed strongly marketing "100 secondes", which is TV news of a bit less than 2 minutes actualised every hour and produced by Swiss first channel especially for mobile phones. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=267428 http://www.swisscom-mobile.ch/scm/10...sschau-fr.aspx Generally, marketing for mobile TV right now is about news and soccer here.

![]() | I recently read the news that they are experimenting with mobile TV service in Vietnam. During the experimental phase, the fee is $7 a month for 6 channels, including HBO, Discovery, etc. Not sure if there's any limit in time though. |
