Is Anyone submitting .mobis to the January Auction?

I was curious if anyone here is submitting any of their .mobi domains to the Moniker auction in January?

That's all they're accepting for this auction is adult names.

I've submitted 2 names, 1 is a .mobi. That's all the adult names I have... lol

The timing is not right at all. I'm waiting until Sex.mobi and a few others sell before considering selling any adult mobi's. Plus this auction is taking place at an adult convention where 99% of the crowd have no clue about dotMobi. Dot com on the other hand will do very well..

UPDATE: I spoke to an executive at Moniker and they say dotMobi will not be at the January 2007 adult convention. Looks like they don't feel the timing is right either (2008 will be a different story

).

have you seen the PREMIUM list of adult .mobis that MTLD has saved? It's massive.... perhaps they'll be auctioning some off at the show.

My only adult domain - xxxChannel.tv - was excepted

250 names being excepted for this auction. Mostly adult with the exception of a select few non adult names plucked from the higher up's.

Edit: I see, it needs to generate "interest". My fault, wasnt excepted. Sorry to mislead.

You have to write to sales@moniker.com. They will send you a spreadsheet to list your names, prices, etc and mail back to them.

In an email I got from them on 11/30/06, they said they hadn't yet began choosing the names that will be included, from the ones submitted.

I submitted my two! I have BlondeGirl.mobi and BlondeGirls.mobi in the January auction. I have my reserve set at $800 for both of them? What do you guys think I should put it at?

Actually, I just did it at this URL:

They have a button there to sell your domain at the auction...no need to bother with e-mailing. I submitted a few this way myself, so I can vouch for it working.
