I have alot of faith in mobi's for the future, but I continue to see big corporation's useing this type of domain address and I get discouraged. But only for a second

Was it the second before you realised that it's partypoker which is advertised on the mobile shown on your link and that it belongs to partygaming which is in Gibraltar and that:

Yes I was aware of that partypoker.mobi as I posted that info in the corporate .mobi thread. However, they are not useing .mobi, just partymobile.com

I didnt realize they just reg'd it, the partymobile. I have partypennies, nickels and payouts.com

Once .mobi is adopted as a standard by the general public, all the companies will follow. Its like when I bought my first DVD player. I called blockbuster to see if they rented DVDs, and they said, "We're waiting to see if there is going to be a market for DVDs before decide to carry them" True story.

So the moral of the story is, the businesses follow the public not the other way around.

It is up to the developers too of coarse to get the public interested as well as a few big companies promoting it.

There are no TM issues.

This afternoon PartyPoker.mobi offered me mid $xxx,xxx for the domain

I think so too. Once the majority of mobile internet sites are .mobi's, the rest will follow or end up like Betamax. But for the majority of sites to be .mobi's, we all have to develop.
