I got a second (or was it third, or fourth, or...) wind and picked up a new bunch of .mobis today. I was surprised that some of these were still available, mostly the "forums" names. Seems to me like they're quite good, and would fly in the face of the "if it hasn't already been registered, it's worthless" school of thought. Or am I a lost, misguided soul?

decent names... they are definetely a lot better than most names ive seen posted here or at other places this late...good job with sticking to generics like BusinessForums, MusicForums instead of like jazzforums or classicrockforums

i too will be doing a 2nd,3rd wind today of "decent" names... i only refer to them as decent because i think its hard to find anything unregistered that just blows everyone away this late.. i havnt registered any new .mobi keywords in almost two weeks so it should be fun revising my lists today

I'd have to agree that there are unlikely to be found any more "blows everyone away" type of names -- there are still some others around along the lines of the ones I've posted above, however. It's getting much harder to find them, though...although I've said this numerous times, I really do think I am nearing the end of my searching.

I think your forum names are "decent". Believe me, that's a compliment since finding "decent" names now is becoming difficult. It's much better than most of the junk people are saying "I just registered a great one" about. If anybody wants to make a killing down the road, then look for resale now. If I had the bucks I'd be gobbling up a lot more than I have. Jeremy is the perfect example of what you should be doing if you got the bucks. You can still find deals via resale.

A few weeks ago there were still what I consider to be .mobi's that slipped through the cracks. I have spent many hours creating lists and searching and do believe that the "great" ones are certainly gone. You may be able to find a few "decent" ones still but another week or two and it'll be a stretch to even find a "decent" one. If I get any others now it will be via resale. I am going to finish regging domains I want for personal use and terms that are significant to me or my business but in general wouldn't be worth anything to anyone else, and then play the waiting game.

I aggree with some good domains left, I bought Kunt.mobi a week ago, and I found about 4-5 others the other night that I plan on buying after i get more funds (.mobi has drained me, but it will be worth it down the road)

This can either relate to a boarding facility for cats or a breeding facility for cats.

Cats and Dogs are big business on the internet.

I am in the animal business and have great plans for development of this mobi. It will work in well for my canines.mobi & felines.mobi.
Now that is my last mobi.

I agree that pets are popular. I have DogPictures.mobi in auction at afternic - reserve was met, $205 current minimum (20 hours or so left). Nice OVT numbers for dog pictures too. I'm still holding PetPictures.mobi at afternic.

Works for me... and well worth the $17. best one I registered all day.

I've been looking to foreign markets, Italy and France. Registering names with good local Ovt - names I would be happy to develop if they don't sell.

Doing this I've picked up over the last couple of weeks, the Italian for;

diamonds
real estate
electronics
offices
chocolate
pensions
make-up
perfume

And about 20 others. One thing you've got to be careful of, is that sometimes there may be more than one word, or way of saying something, but only one phrase or word works for this application.

While Italian Ovt is less than the US equivalent - the Google results are generally much less - so the search / result ratio is much better.
