Nice coup vcool, just shows that when you act quickly that it usually pays off.
Your site will now get all that free exposure ... excellent.

Don't worry about dir.mobi, i'm sure it is getting nice exposure too. I have visited it several times so far just because of postings in the forums.
You might also just add a link to it or a blurb about it on the eindia.mobi site.
Maybe use a "news release" item about eindia.mobi being added to dir.mobi.

I like the new style but it upsets me that they will advertise something like Cnnmoney.mobi but it goes right to the .com website. It also says the name of the .com website on the front page instead of CNNMoney.mobi.

That's a little foolish to promote

Well, I believe thats what we will see more and more. Access point is .mobi then ultimately one may want to drive the user to a pc based site to persuade them to sign up or buy something or similar.

That's unfortunate because that means that .com will still have a greater presence on cellphones/mobile devices rather than .mobi. .mobi websites can be used on normal pcs too. It shouldn't be the other way around where a .mobi takes you to a .com.

I'm guessing that they might not show your directory site because it would go against their directory site.

Though it may be the case in short run, may be not in long run. Well, if .mobi is attached too much to mobile, that may work negative to instill the concept that the same .mobi can be accessed on a pc.

Well their's is more of a showcase then a directory. They have put it there to promote .mobi. For them to be suceesfully , they need to showcase others website more then there own. They are and will be making money by selling .mobi (200k for flowers.mobi for example) rather then developing sites.

Also I just got an e-mail from mtld.mobi saying that they did no include dir.mobi because it failed the markup test using their vaildation tool. Now that I have fixed it, hopefully they will include dir.mobi as well.
